Practice Summary

As an Associate at Norvell IP, Christian advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, including trademark and copyright prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management.  Christian also advises clients on IP-related transactions, such as acquisition and licensing agreements, and has litigation experience through his work on federal district court cases and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). 

Before joining the firm, Christian was a Summer Associate at Norvell IP.  While in law school, Christian served as a Senior Editor of the International Law Review—where his research on Cuban trademark law and its impact on small businesses was published—an Associate Editor of the Health Law and Policy Law Review, and was a member of the Latino Law Student Association.  In addition, Christian earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advocacy, studied Advanced Federal Litigation Practice under the Honorable Virginia M. Kendall, and was a Chicago IP Colloquium Fellow.  Christian also externed for the Honorable Sara L. Ellis and the in-house intellectual property group at Mintel Group, Ltd.

Representative Litigation Matters

Seide et al. v. Level-(1) Global Solutions, LLC et al. (N.D. Ill.). Represented plaintiffs David Seide and Defined Space, Inc. in copyright infringement and breach of contract case in federal court.
