Practice Summary

Stephanie Crigler is an Associate at Norvell IP.  She specializes in trademark and copyright law, with a focus on trademark clearance, enforcement, and portfolio management, as well as copyright licensing and registration.  Stephanie also has litigation experience through her work on federal and state court cases involving copyright infringement and breach of contract claims, and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). 

Before joining the firm, Stephanie was a Summer Associate at Norvell IP. While in law school, Stephanie served as an Executive Articles Editor of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and participated in Chicago-Kent’s Intellectual Property Moot Court team, finishing second in the nation at the Saul Lefkowitz National Finals hosted by INTA. Stephanie graduated in the top 5% of her class, earning an election into the Order of the Coif national legal honorary society. She also won CALI Awards for Excellence in legal writing, constitutional law, and property law and received the 2016 Dolores Hanna Trademark Prize for outstanding performance in intellectual property courses.

Representative Litigation Matters

Seide et al. v. Level-(1) Global Solutions, LLC et al. (N.D. Ill.). Represented plaintiffs David Seide and Defined Space, Inc. in copyright infringement and breach of contract case in federal court.
